Model, Tennessee Historical Photos

We were looking through some old archived files of Land Between The Lakes and came across four photos of Model, Tennessee, which was a community located along Tennessee Highway 49 in present-day Land Between The Lakes.

The town was removed shortly after these were taken and all that remains today is the Great Western Iron Furnace and the former home of Cleo Griffin, the “last resident of Land Between the Lakes“.

We’re not entirely sure where the photos came from, but we are crediting the now-defunct Between The Rivers website and Tripp Scott.
